Full-Time Dietitian Salinas, CA
Connected Health Care is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian for one of our valued healthcare partners in Salinas, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Dietitian looking to advance their career while providing meaningful nutritional care in a healthcare setting.
Job Description
Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and individualized nutrition care plans for patients.
Evaluate patients' nutritional status and develop appropriate dietary recommendations.
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
Support quality patient care while following applicable clinical, regulatory, and dietary standards.
Maintain current knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, and evidence-based clinical practices.
Education and Certification Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required.
Masters degree preferred.
Must currently be a Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing and credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or be registry eligible.
ServSafe Certification through an accredited American National Standards Institute program preferred.
3 years of clinical dietetics experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
Computer experience preferred.
Spanish-speaking skills preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
