We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and proactive Dental Assistant to join our team.


We want someone who is confident in their abilities, works efficiently, anticipates the doctor's needs, and takes initiative without constantly needing direction.


Must be proficient in taking digital X-rays and performing coronal polishing. We are seeking someone with hands-on clinical experience who can contribute to our team from day one.


Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience required
  
  
• Must be proficient in taking digital dental X-rays, including FMX, bitewings, and periapical radiographs
  
  
• Must be trained and qualified to perform coronal polishing
  
  
• Must have the appropriate California certifications or authorizations for dental radiography and coronal polishing
  
  
• Strong chairside assisting skills and knowledge of dental procedures
  
  
• Excellent understanding of infection control, sterilization, and operatory preparation
  
  
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a busy dental practice
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
  
  
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various restorative and specialty procedures
  
  
• Independently obtain high-quality digital radiographs
  
  
• Perform coronal polishing as permitted under California law
  
  
• Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
  
  
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols
  
  
• Assist with hygiene appointments and help maintain smooth patient flow
  
  
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
  
  
• Anticipate clinical needs and help keep the daily schedule running smoothly
