Full Time Line Cook

Lao Peng You is a family owned Chinese restaurant in Ukrainian Village that specializes in noodles and dumplings. We re looking for an experienced and versatile cook to join our kitchen team for a full time position. This position will cover both large batch prep and line tasks. It will require operating at both the restaurant and future training shifts at our offsite kitchen so open availability and reliable transportation are a must.

Our priorities are maintaining high quality work ethic and food while cultivating a healthy, sustainable, and inclusive work environment. We believe in investing in our team members.

We re looking for someone with

• 3+ experience in high volume kitchens
  
• proficient with both line cooking and large batch prep
  
• well versed with various line and prep equipment
  
• stamina for working in a small hot kitchens
