Full Time Nanny with Overtime

Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant | Wellesley, MA
A friendly family in Wellesley is seeking a dependable, proactive, and nurturing full-time nanny/family assistant to join them long-term. This blended family has two active 5-year-olds and is expecting a new baby in November. They are looking for someone who is confident caring for a newborn while helping keep the household organized and running smoothly. Parents may occasionally be home, but the nanny will generally have the autonomy to manage the day independently.
Responsibilities

• Provide loving care for a newborn and two 5-year-old children.
• School, bus stop, and activity pick-up/drop-off.
• Provide transportation for one child to and/or from their other parent's home in Hingham a few times per week.
• Plan age-appropriate activities, crafts, outdoor play, and outings.
• Prepare children's meals and snacks.
• Children's laundry.
• Organize children's bedrooms, play areas, school bags, and belongings.
• Grocery shopping and household errands.
• Meal prep support.
• Light household tidying and daily resets.
• Help with scheduling and family logistics.
• Occasional babysitting with advance notice.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience.
• Newborn experience required
• Experience caring for multiple children.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Up-to-date Flu, Covid and Tdap vaccinations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle that can safely accommodate three children
• Non-smoker.

Position Details
Location: Wellesley, MA
Position: Full-Time, Live-Out
Start Date: Early January 2027
Schedule: Will start at 40 hours and increase to 47 hours when Mom goes back to work.
Week A – 47 hours (Majority of time with infant)

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (bus stop or Chestnut Hill school pickup for son)
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (drive to Hingham for daughter 4:30 PM pickup)
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (drop daughter off in Hingham)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (pick up daughter in Hingham at 2:20 PM)

Week B – 47 hours (Majority of time with infant)

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (pick up son from Chestnut Hill school or the bus stop)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (pick up daughter from school at 4:00–4:30 PM)
• Friday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (drop daughter off at school in Hingham)

Compensation: $34–$38 per hour, BOE; taxes withheld
