OPEN POSITION: Physician - OphthalmologistSCHEDULE: - Full-Time- Monday to Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm- No Weekends- No Evenings- No Holidays- No Required On-Call- Some Flexibility OfferedCOMPENSATION: - $600,000 to $700,000 Annual Income- 1-Year and 2-Year Partnership Track Options- $350,000 to $400,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience- Generous Productivity Bonus Structure- $20,000 Sign-On Bonus- $10,000 Relocation Stipend- $20,000 Hospital On-Call Stipend (if participating; see below)- Surgery Center Shares Option- $3,000 Annual CME Allowance- Malpractice Insurance- Health Insurance- Paid Time Off Package- Professional Expenses Paid- 401k- Full Package NegotiableLOCATION: Grand Island, NebraskaCOMPANY PROFILE: This physician-owned private practice has been serving patients in Grand Island and the surrounding communities since 1999.  They operate a main office in Grand Island, as well as smaller satellite offices in the surrounding area, to provide convenience for patients and flexibility for providers.  They currently have 2 ophthalmologists and a dedicated support staff, serving patients with full-scope ophthalmologic care.  They are excited to welcome a new physician due to growth.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ophthalmologist will join a busy private practice with a large patient base and strong referral network.  A full patient panel will be available immediately.Overall duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- diagnose eye conditions- treat eye conditions- work with patients to prevent eye diseases and vision problems- perform eye exams- prescribe medications and corrective lenses- conduct eye surgeriesAmong other services, the office offers:- advanced technology lens implants- iStents- goniotomy- cataract surgery- in-office eyelid surgery- lesion removal- laser surgeryThe current ophthalmologists perform 600 to 800 surgeries per year and see a maximum of 40 patients per clinic day.  The actual number of patients varies based upon types of appointments, patient needs, and physician preference.Ophthalmologists are highly supported with a team that includes:- technicians- scribes- nurses- surgery schedulers The practice has extensive resources and state-of-the-art equipment:- IOLMaster 700- Cirrus OCT- Humphrey Visual Field- Visulas Yag III Laser- Compulink EMR with AI ScribeThe new ophthalmologist will have the option to participate in hospital on-call for an annual stipend.  Call activity primarily happens during daytime hours and, on average, there are 7 to 10 calls per month.  It is rare to have call activity on weekends or in the evening.  On-call is scheduled flexibility to ensure minimal impact to work/life balance.REQUIREMENTS:- Nebraska medical license- DEA- Board Certified or Eligible, OphthalmologyHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your CV to Jenn Kunkel at jenn@chsrecruiting.com or call (773) 998-1272.Please visit www.chsrecruiting.com/jobs for a complete list of available positions through CHS Recruiting.
