Full-Time or Part-Time Shift Manager

Shift Manager: Runs their shifts smoothly: coordinating staff, handling issues in real time, and keeping standards up when the manager isn't on the floor.

Pay: $18-20 an hour; based on experience and availability

Schedule: Full-time preferred; part time shifts available. Must be available for some closing and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

 Assign stations and manage staffing during a shift

 Step in on the line or register during rushes or callouts

 Handle escalated customer issues

 Open or close the store, including cash and safety procedures

 Coach crew members in the moment and give feedback to the manager

What we're looking for:

 6+ months of food service experience preferred

 Comfortable giving direction to peers

 Calm under pressure, especially during rushes or short-staffed shifts

 Basic cash handling and POS experience

 Must be 18 years old or older

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those to be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:  

• Move items weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs  
• Possess manual dexterity for assembly
• Able to reach, bend, push, pull and/or stretch body to grab or move items 
• Remain in a standing/sitting position for 4 or more hours at a time 
• Able to quickly move about inside and outside the restaurant
• Able to use various kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, grills, toasters, etc. if allowed to by law
• Exposure to cold temperatures from coolers and freezers, as well as heat from cooking equipment  
• Exposure to weather such as heat, cold, rain, snow and wind
• Able to see, read, and comprehend a variety of written or displayed media
