We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Licensed Optician (NJ License required) to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be dispensing, taking measurements, fitting eyewear, adjustments, and tracing.

There is no in-office lab work or lens cutting required other than tracing frames. All finishing and edging are handled by our dedicated off-site digital laboratory, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best—connecting with patients, optimizing their vision, taking measurements, and dispensing. 

We are currently looking for either part time or full time. Please apply even if you are looking for only a couple of days as we are very flexible!

Responsibilities to include:

• Precision Dispensing: Analyze patient prescriptions to recommend optimal lens designs, materials, and treatments (e.g., progressive lenses, high-index materials, anti-reflective coatings).
• Measurements & Fitting: Take highly accurate optical measurements, including pupillary distance (PD), segment heights, and vertex distance.
• Adjustments & Repairs: Perform expert frame adjustments, alignments, and minor repairs to ensure maximum physical comfort and visual clarity for the patient.
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not a requirement
