We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals receiving behavior analytic services, helping to implement treatment plans designed to support skill development, independence, and positive behavior change. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with supervising behavior analysts, caregivers, and other team members.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the supervising clinician.
Provide direct one-on-one support in home or clinic settings.
Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
Assist with teaching communication and social skills.
Use approved behavior support strategies to encourage positive outcomes and maintain a safe environment.
Communicate observations, concerns, and session updates to the supervising team in a timely manner.
Follow all clinical procedures, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines.
Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings as required.
Qualifications
Current Registered Behavior Technician and BLS certification in good standing, or eligibility to obtain certification.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in psychology, education, human services, or a related field is a plus.
Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with developmental or behavioral needs preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
Excellent attention to detail and consistent data collection skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from supervising clinicians.
Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism in a variety of settings.
Ability to pass any required background checks and meet applicable state or program requirements.
