About the Job:

As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you'll play an important role in supporting our customers and ensuring their loans are serviced accurately throughout the life of the loan. This position combines customer service, problem-solving, and detailed system work while providing the opportunity to learn multiple areas of Loan Servicing.

What You Will Do:

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers by answering questions, researching loan information, and assisting with servicing needs.
• Process loan maintenance and updates within the bank's core system, ensuring information is complete and accurate.
• Research and resolve servicing questions, discrepancies, and system issues, making corrections when needed.
• Review and work servicing reports to identify items requiring follow-up or maintenance.
• Partner with team members across Loan Servicing, including General Servicing, Escrow, Payoffs and Discharges, Loan Review, Modifications, Investor Accounting, and Collections.
• Assist in different areas of Loan Servicing as needed, providing opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience.
• Prepare and organize loan documentation for imaging and record retention.
• Identify recurring issues or inaccuracies and communicate them to leadership.
• Perform other servicing and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable learning and working within multiple systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to balance independent work with collaboration across a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mortgage, consumer lending, loan servicing, banking, or related financial-services experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Fiserv, ImageCentre, Encompass, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are helpful; the ability and willingness to learn new systems are important.
