We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the release of cutting-edge Android applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership ability to ensure seamless software delivery.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience in Release Engineering and program management for consumer-facing software and mobile applications.
• Proven Cross-Functional Leadership skills to align engineering, hardware, QA, product, compliance, and OEM teams.
• Hands-on experience in managing release calendars, leading Go/No-Go reviews, and executing phased production rollouts.
• Working knowledge of the Android build process, including build artifacts, semantic versioning, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with real-time dashboards and crash reporting tools such as Crashlytics and Play Console.
• Strong leadership presence with data-driven decision-making skills to manage release quality.
• Experience managing software/hardware release cycles in the automotive, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), or OEM ecosystem.
• Deep familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern CI/CD release automation tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the complete software release lifecycle from branch cut through deployment, staged rollouts, and post-launch monitoring.
• Drive daily coordination across Engineering, QA, Product, Hardware, Compliance, and external OEM partners.
• Maintain the release calendar and schedule deployment windows across various environments.
• Chair production readiness reviews and Go/No-Go meetings, ensuring all requirements are met before production pushes.
• Execute phased production ramp-ups while monitoring real-time crash rates and system stability.
• Identify and resolve technical or schedule disconnects early to clear blockers.
• Build real-time progress dashboards and host post-release retrospectives for continuous process improvements.
• Leverage foundational Android build knowledge to validate release candidate packages.
