Fund Controller | Boston | Hybrid

A leading global investment management firm is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join its growing finance and fund operations team. This is a high-visibility opportunity to take ownership of complex fund accounting and reporting activities while partnering closely with investment, operations, tax, audit, and other internal teams. 

Compensation: $145,000-165,000 on a base + bonus 
Schedule: Onsite 4 days/week 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee fund accounting, NAV, financial reporting, and audits

• Manage capital calls, distributions, cash, and fund expenses

• Review complex investment transactions and partnership accounting

• Partner with internal teams, administrators, and auditors

• Support new fund launches and operational initiatives

Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant fund accounting and public accounting experience

• CPA required 

• 3+ years of private equity, private credit, or hedge fund experience 

• Strong partnership accounting and U.S. GAAP knowledge

• Experience with complex fund structures, waterfalls, carried interest, and capital activity

• Strong Excel skills
