Fund Structuring Associates support fund formation teams, legal counsel, and operations teams by managing the setup, documentation, and operational structuring of new investment funds. The role blends legal knowledge, operational coordination, and investor-focused structuring in a fast-paced private capital environment.
This position works closely with fund managers, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure funds are structured efficiently, compliant with regulatory requirements, and ready for capital deployment.
Assist in the structuring and formation of new investment funds, including partnerships, LLCs, and other fund vehicles
Coordinate fund documentation, subscription agreements, and offering materials with internal teams and external counsel
Track and manage timelines for fund closings, capital commitments, and regulatory filings
Collaborate with legal, tax, compliance, and operations teams to ensure fund structures meet regulatory and investor requirements
Support fund reporting, investor communications, and operational setup for new funds
Maintain data, dashboards, and documentation to ensure smooth fund launches and ongoing compliance
Identify process improvements to streamline fund structuring workflows
Prepare ad-hoc analyses and operational summaries for senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field
Familiarity with fund structuring, private capital, or investment fund operations
Understanding of fund legal structures, partnership agreements, and regulatory requirements preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel; experience with operational reporting tools or databases is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
