Description

Seeking Private Equity Fund Accounting professionals for multiple openings with a leading financial services client. Candidates must have experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting and hands-on experience with Geneva or Investran. This role offers the opportunity to support complex fund structures, financial reporting, reconciliations, and client-facing fund accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses and preparing reports.
  • Lead work of junior team members for assigned client or fund and provide guidance on complex accounting responsibilities including service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.
  • Provide input into methodologies, review complex work done by junior team members, and guide cash and asset reconciliations relating to complex accounts or transactions.
  • Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes, and evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members and potentially take on Team Lead responsibilities.
  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies.
