Job Description:
The Interim Fundraising Specialist will provide hands-on support to keep development initiatives, donor engagement efforts, and events progressing smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys project coordination, communications, and nonprofit fundraising operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily development and fundraising operations
- Support annual giving and campaign-related communications
- Coordinate donor stewardship and engagement activities
- Provide administrative support for grant and scholarship programs
- Assist with planning and logistics for fundraising events and conferences
- Maintain donor records, reports, and materials within CRM and shared systems
- Collaborate with leadership, board members, and cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years of nonprofit fundraising, development, or advancement experience
- Experience working in nonprofit, association, education, or foundation settings
- Familiarity with donor databases/CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
- Ability to step into a fast-paced environment and work independently
