Job Title: Futures Client Services Specialist
Reports to:  Client Services Team Lead
Position type:  Full-time  Part-time
Hours/week: 40, 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday and 6 pm to 2:30 am (must be willing to cover all shifts occasionally)
Status: Exempt   Non-exempt
Work location: Chicago, IL
 
The Futures Client Services Specialist will represent IRONBEAM, a CME Group Clearing Member and Futures Commission Merchant. The candidate will report directly to the firm’s Senior Management and will be responsible for the following as well as other duties as assigned:
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting customers in a variety of issues.
  • Risk management with futures and options trading, including executing trades.
  • Executing orders for clients.
  • Engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assisting current customers on using our technology.
  • Setting up customers with access to trading systems and troubleshooting trading software connection issues.
  • Assisting with the firm's back office operations on an as-needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Commodities industry experience: 1 year minimum
  • Knowledge of futures and options industry is a must
  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of industry trading platforms and technology on the back end 
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in business related area
  • Series 3 Registration is preferred
