Job Title: FWS - Athletic Facilities and Game Ops Assistant

Department: Athletic Department

Pay: $16.80Hr.

Reports to: Kristyn Barton (kristynbarton@pacificu.edu) Nick Veach (nickveach@pacificu.edu)

Location: Stoller Center

Purpose:

Student workers in this position will perform a variety of duties in regards to daily operations of our athletic facilities and event related functions. Students will assist the Director of Game Ops and the Director of Athletic Facilities in ensuring all athletic facilities are safe, clean and ready to go for day-to-day use as well as game days for all athletic events.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set Up and Break Down of game events. Tables, chairs, mats, etc.
• Ticket Sales, gate monitoring and assisting with concession sales
• Game Day positions including; Floor Sweeping, Ball shagging, Timers, Sub Box, etc.
• Outdoor maintenance work.
• Greeting and assisting sport fans and community members with a kind and welcoming attitude.

Appropriate Attire

Closed toe shoes are required, tennis shoes preferred. Dress appropriately for the weather, there will be many events where we will be outside. Staff shirts provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a student attending Pacific University. (Grad Students included)
• Great attitude with a teamwork mentality.
• Eager to learn.
• Able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Can work in any outdoor weather conditions.
