About the Role:
Innovative Machine in Winchester, NH is looking for a skilled G-code/Conversational CNC Machinist to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines using G-code and conversational programming
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills and/or lathes
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
- Perform in-process inspection using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make offsets/adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with proficiency in G-code programming preferred but not necessary
- Experience with conversational CNC controls (Hurco, Haas, Fanuc, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and workholding techniques
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
