Job Summary

Our client is seeking a TGCM Technician to operate and maintain liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment, conduct safety inspections, monitor gas and chemical systems, perform product transfers, and follow strict safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, and hazardous waste handling.

Job Description

• Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
• Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment
• Conduct daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online systems, and performing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
• Monitor and execute correct liquid bulk delivery and trailer transfer procedures
• Provide initial evaluations and obtain assistance for technical problem situations
• Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team
• Participate in safety, training, and operations programs
• Support the training of TGCM contractors as needed
• Comply with all HS&E Standards (PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space Entry, etc.)
• Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures
• Oversee hazardous waste handling, including proper transfer, documentation, labeling, and spill response procedures

Skills Required

• Experience in the semiconductor, chemical/specialty gas, military technical/electronic, or nuclear fields
• 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new processes quickly
• Foundational understanding of warehouse functions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and self-motivation to learn
• Ability to abide by stringent safety and quality rules
• Strong problem-solving skills, including in emergency or high-stress situations

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Walking 5,000-10,000 steps/day in 350,000-400,000sq ft building
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new processes quickly
• A foundational understanding of warehouse functions
• A positive attitude and a high level of adaptability

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Work Hours:
  • Initial onboarding: Monday–Friday, approximately 8 hours per day for one week
  • Day shift: 6:30 AM–6:30 PM; exact working days to be determined
  • Must be available and willing to work both day and night shifts
  • Estimated hours per week: 36–48 hours
  • Initial training will take place on the day shift

• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day
  • Ability to operate a hydraulic foot pump (55-gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs.)
  • Capacity for constant bending and wearing a respirator as required
  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE
  • Adherence to onsite face mask mandates

Pay Rate/Salary

• $21.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
