Gas Field Operations Analyst

This position is part of a Gas Field Service Operations team within the EGPM Organization.

Role summary / purpose

This position will provide support for daily, weekly, and annual data reporting and forecasting processes, work load management activities, and maintenance of standard processes and systems. You will provide analytical reports, create data collection processes, and deliver systems support for the business unit while working independently to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and administer programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute ad hoc and routine reporting processes as well as report and metric generation
• Conduct ad hoc and project analysis by gathering and reviewing data, making recommendations, and performing follow-through activities such as scheduling meetings, modifying data, and additional analysis
• Write and execute queries in databases
• Create visual representations of data sets in quick and understandable formats to accurately reflect datasets
• Gather requirements to execute reports, projects, and analysis

Requirements - education & experience

• Bachelor''s degree required in Data Science / Analytics, Computer Science / Information Systems, or Business Administration
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
• SQL Server querying knowledge and understanding of database management principles

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory / Microsoft Azure Data Explorer Tools
• Databricks exposure
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
