Job Summary

Based on prior work related experience we are seeking a Gas Scheduler II or Gas Scheduler III to manage and support natural gas scheduling requirements for multiple Retail/LDC's, interstate pipelines and/or intrastate pipelines. This position requires working before/after regular office hours including some/or holidays and weekends.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for account management for the retail portfolio and general load forecasting
  • Monitor and communicate pipeline operational information posting to Traders and colleagues in a timely manner
  • Manage pipeline imbalances, monitor and resolve pipeline volume discrepancies
  • Optimize pipeline capacity while working with Traders to minimize transportation costs
  • Enter and manage pipeline and LDC data in Entegrate Application Suite (Energy Trade/Risk Management System)
  • Reconcile transposition invoices and perform other operational functions as requested

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required and minimum of 2 years natural gas scheduling experience
  • Must demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with competing deadlines
  • Must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Abilities Required

  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc
  • Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
  • All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
