Gas Turbine Mechanic

FieldBridge is looking for a Gas Turbine Mechanic in Houston, TX to work for one of the world's largest oilfield services companies. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $25/hour | Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | OT available as needed. at $25/hr and 50 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,375 gross.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Mechanic to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect aero equipment at the Houston, TX workshop. In this role, you will assist in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, perform testing with minimal supervision, and provide technical support across the business while complying with all HSE policies and procedures. This is a precision-focused, hands-on mechanical role on a rotating equipment repair and overhaul floor. Steel-toed boots required.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of aero and gas turbine equipment
• Assist in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment and perform all testing with minimal instruction
• Accurately use precision measuring instruments including ID/OD micrometers, depth micrometers, and calipers
• Read and independently comprehend complex machining and assembly drawings to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment under time constraints
• Provide on-site technical support as needed and collaborate effectively with technicians, engineers, and support teams

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 or more years of experience troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and visually inspecting aero or rotating equipment
• Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
• Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments including ID/OD micrometers, depth micrometers, and calipers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read complex machining and assembly drawings independently
• Manufacturing or industrial background preferred
• Steel-toed boots required
