Specialty Gastroenterology Physician Location Greater Hartford Area CT Primary Hubs Avon & Wethersfield Schedule Full-Time. Call rotation ~19. Weekly structure 2-3 procedure days 1-2 clinic daysweek rotating 15 weekly hospital service. We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our GI team including 4 physicians and 4 APPs. We have a highly cohesive team celebrated for exceptional longevity-where the most senior partner has served for 25 years and all remaining partners joined directly out of fellowship 6 to 10 years ago. Replacing a retired founding physician this growth-oriented role offers standard general GI practice with partnership potential. Scope of Practice Practice ~90 general GI with the optional capacity for mixed advanced procedures ERCPEUS ~10 serving an adult patient panel with generous 15 to 45-minute appointment blocks and a 16-18 scope daily target. Clinical Support & Autonomy Benefit from dedicated MAs LPNs RNs and administrative staff who handle call-backs clinical triage and portal messages allowing you to focus entirely on direct patient care while working alongside highly autonomous APPs.
