Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale, cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is ideal for a seasoned data architecture professional with expertise in modern data warehousing, data lakes, data governance, and Master Data Management (MDM).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining scalable data architectures, establishing governance frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reusable data products that support analytics and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, cloud-native data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Architect enterprise data solutions leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
Design and optimize modern Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.
Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of reusable data products based on business requirements.
Define and implement Master Data Management (MDM) strategies, data standards, and ownership models.
Establish data governance processes, including data quality, metadata management, lineage, and security.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and engineering teams to align data architecture with enterprise objectives.
Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions following industry best practices.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and data engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on expertise with:
BigQuery
Dataflow
Pub/Sub
Cloud Composer
Strong understanding of:
Experience designing reusable, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
Experience implementing enterprise data security, governance, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise data modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
