Overall ScopeUnder the general direction of the Finance Manager - Engineered Solutions, the Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational information to support executive decision‑making. This role partners closely with operations, sales, and division finance to drive performance improvement, cost control, and strategic planning across the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecastsProvide financial reporting and analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast
Partner with sales and operational leaders to deliver in‑depth financial analysis, modeling, and insights that support business initiativesAnalyze financial and operational data to provide recommendations that improve margins, cost efficiency, and overall performanceMaintain and enhance BI dashboards, KPIs, and reporting toolsPerform month‑end close activities, including journal entries and preparation of management reporting packagesConduct cost analysis related to materials, labor, overhead, and production variancesAssist in preparing executive‑level summary analyticsCreate, maintain, and optimize reports within financial planning softwarePerform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Three or more years of accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high‑quality workDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment; strong work ethic requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) and financial consolidation/planning tools (e.g., Oracle)Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly ExcelExperience with BI tools such as Power BI
