Commercial Construction Project Management & General Contracting Experience Highly Desireable
Proset Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will lead ultra high end custom home construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Position Qualifications :
4–6+ years of experience, as a Superintendent, on complex commercial construction projects for a professional general contractor or construction management firm, including full lifecycle responsibility, use of formal project controls and systems, and accountability for financial performance, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Proven working knowledge of all major construction trades and current means and methods.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and the ability to actively enforce company and project safety requirements.
- Strong knowledge and experience with creating and managing complex, highly detailed, true logic based project schedules using the Critical Path Method. Expertise in using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to read, interpret, and enforce construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Ability to aggressively drive project schedules with firm, decisive leadership while maintaining strong working relationships, supervising field operations to ensure quality, and consistently instilling a sense of urgency.
- Ability to inspect and supervise all areas of a jobsite in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to travel regionally based on project needs.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes and the ability to meet jurisdictional licensing requirements.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and control all daily field operations to safely deliver the project in accordance with contract requirements, schedule, budget, quality standards, and Proset Construction expectations.
- Serve as Proset Construction’s primary on-site representative, directing all subcontractor and field activities.
- Establish, enforce, and model jobsite safety standards; conduct and document daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), weekly safety meetings, and safety inspections.
- Develop, maintain, and be accountable for the project CPM schedule, including sequencing, logic, updates, and forecasting.
- Plan and direct daily and weekly work sequencing to meet or beat project milestones and critical path activities.
- Manage subcontractor performance, including coordination, productivity, quality, and adherence to schedule requirements.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards; require corrective action as necessary.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve constructability, coordination, safety, quality, and schedule issues before they impact the project.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager on logistics, schedule impacts, risk management, and scope alignment.
- Interpret contract documents to ensure full conformance and to identify scope gaps, conflicts, or changes beyond the contractor’s responsibility.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of daily jobsite activities, inspections, meetings, and reports using Procore and other project systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.
- Lead field closeout activities including final inspections, punch lists, deficiencies, warranty work, and site demobilization.
- Set the tone for professionalism, urgency, accountability, and teamwork on the jobsite.
- Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure successful project delivery.
