Duties and Responsibilities

  • Examine patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose and treat oral health conditions
  • Utilize digital X-rays and computer-generated imaging for comprehensive evaluations
  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, veneers, extractions, whitening, bonding, and decay treatment
  • Administer local anesthesia as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings
  • Prescribe medications, including antibiotics and pain management, when appropriate
  • Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are followed
  • Take dental impressions for mouthguards, crowns, and dentures

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Active state dental license
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines
  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
