Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Provide high-quality general and restorative dentistry
• Perform endodontic and cosmetic procedures appropriate to the provider's experience and clinical abilities
• Provide crowns, bridges, veneers, whitening, and other comprehensive treatment
• Incorporate implant dentistry into appropriate patient treatment plans
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment recommendations to patients
• Develop long-term relationships with patients and families
• Collaborate with hygienists and dental assistants to maintain an efficient clinical schedule
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in continuing education and remain current with advances in restorative and implant dentistry
• Support the clinical team in maintaining consistent standards of patient care

Minimum Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active New York dental license in good standing or ability to obtain
• Strong diagnostic and comprehensive treatment-planning abilities
• Ability to independently provide general and restorative dentistry
• Comfortable providing cosmetic dentistry and other procedures appropriate to the provider's experience
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm and reassuring chairside manner
