General Dentist – Special Needs Practice

 

A growing dental organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Dentist to join its Special Needs Practice team. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and building meaningful, long-term relationships with individuals who have special healthcare needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients with special healthcare needs in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment

  • Perform preventive, restorative, and diagnostic dental procedures

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients and caregivers on oral health and treatment options

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers through exceptional clinical care and communication

  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to deliver an outstanding patient experience

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality patient outcomes

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

  • Current dental license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure

  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care

  • Passion for serving patients with special healthcare needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
