Job Description
We are seeking a certified 3rd Grade Teacher to join our school community in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio teaching license and preferably a Reading Endorsement, with a passion for literacy instruction and student growth.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Ohio state standards
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Integrate literacy strategies across subjects to strengthen reading skills
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Valid Ohio Teaching License (Elementary Education)
- Reading Endorsement strongly preferred
