EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated Second Grade Teacher for a full-time elementary school teaching opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with elementary-age students and creating a positive classroom environment that supports academic growth, curiosity, and confidence.


Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with grade-level curriculum standards.
• Teach core second-grade subjects and adapt instruction to meet students' individual learning needs.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to support learning.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school administrators, families, and support staff.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain classroom records and fulfill school-related instructional responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching license appropriate for the assignment.
• Ability to plan and deliver instruction appropriate for second-grade students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching second grade or other elementary grade levels.
• Reading endorsement or additional literacy training.
• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
