Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple commercial construction projects within a regional territory. This leadership role serves as a key connection between project teams, field personnel, and company leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive field experience, strong operational oversight capabilities, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
What You'll Do
- Oversee field operations across multiple active commercial construction projects.
- Travel between jobsites to monitor progress, quality standards, safety compliance, and schedule performance.
- Lead and support site supervisors, foremen, and field teams across assigned projects.
- Develop and coordinate daily and weekly work plans to maintain productivity and project timelines.
- Assist with workforce planning, resource allocation, and material coordination.
- Represent the organization at project meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with project management teams to identify and resolve project challenges.
- Utilize project management technology and reporting tools to document field activity and track project performance.
- Drive accountability, communication, and consistency across all assigned jobsites.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibilities.
- Prior experience as a superintendent, foreman, or equivalent field leadership role.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, manpower planning, and jobsite coordination.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining safe jobsite practices.
- Experience using project management and construction software platforms.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between jobsites.
