    Description

    Position Summary:
    Emerging Advanced Products is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Labor for our Chesterfield, MI location. This hands-on role supports daily production operations and includes a variety of tasks such as packing, welding, and assembly. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assemble products and components according to work instructions, blueprints, or schematics
    • Perform basic welding tasks (MIG/TIG) as assigned and per company safety standards
    • Pack finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, wrapping, and quality control
    • Inspect parts and finished products for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
    • Operate basic hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
    • Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
    • Assist other departments or team members as needed
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
    • Prior manufacturing, assembly, or welding experience is a plus
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
    • Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced setting
    • Basic math and measurement skills
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks
    Preferred Skills (not required):
    • MIG/TIG welding experience
    • Forklift certification or experience
    • Operating assembly machines and equipment
    • Familiarity with safety and quality inspection standards in a production environment

    Work Environment:
    This role operates in a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and temperature variations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required.
