General Laborer – 1st Shift

Openwork is hiring a dependable General Laborer for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is a hands-on position supporting the production and assembly of wood products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience and be comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift.

Location: Denton, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Required as needed, including 12-hour shifts and weekends

• Assist with the production and assembly of wood products
• Handle, move, and prepare materials for production
• Follow specification sheets and work instructions
• Perform repetitive production and assembly tasks
• Inspect completed work for basic quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Assist with other production duties as needed

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read and follow specification sheets
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Availability for required overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred

• Repetitive production and assembly work
• Extended shifts and weekend work may be required based on production needs
