GENERAL LABORER


Rock Creek Grading, LLC is seeking dependable General Laborers to join our construction crews. We perform grading, earthwork, bridge construction, storm drainage, erosion control, and other heavy civil construction throughout Western North Carolina.


Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with the potential for a raise following a 90-day performance evaluation.


Responsibilities:

• Assist equipment operators and foremen with daily construction activities
  
  
• Perform general site cleanup and manual labor
  
  
• Install erosion-control materials, drainage pipe, and related items
  
  
• Use hand and power tools safely
  
  
• Load, unload, and organize materials
  
  
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
  
  
• Complete other duties as assigned by the foreman or superintendent
  
  

Qualifications:

• Construction experience is preferred but not required
  
  
• Must be dependable and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
  
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting at least 50 pounds
  
  
• Must follow instructions and work well with a crew
  
  
• Reliable transportation to designated jobsites is required
  
  
• A valid driver’s license is preferred
