Our Client is seeking a dependable and motivated General Laborer to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating rolling machines, assisting with shear cutting operations, handling materials, and supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate rolling machines to form metal products according to production specifications.
- Assist with setup and operation of shear cutting machines to accurately cut materials to required dimensions.
- Load, unload, and position raw materials using appropriate equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Measure materials using calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all company safety procedures.
- Assist other production departments as needed to meet production schedules.
- Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality control standards.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all OSHA and company safety regulations.
