General Laborer

CATEGORY 1 – GENERAL LABORER

shift starts at 5:30 a.m. To 2:30 p.m. 

They work 10-hour shifts

General Laborer Qualifications:

• Skill in use of hand tools and small engine-powered equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with other laborers.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to perform light manual labor of custodial or general maintenance work nature, as requested.
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 25–50 pounds of equipment, refuse or furniture.
• Laborers – shall wear (steel toe) hard sole shoes. All other safety equipment will be provided.
• Ability to stand, twist, and/or stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to set up tables, chairs, dance floors, stages, risers, and other various meeting room equipment.
• Ability to perform job functions with exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals using appropriate safety precautions and equipment.

Start date: 11/02 (must clear all background check screens before starting to work)
