Responsibilities include:Performing general maintenance, household repairs, painting, pressure washing, and building upkeep.Completing grounds maintenance, including lawn care, flowerbed upkeep, and snow removal.Participating in monthly property inspections and identifying maintenance needs.Responding to maintenance requests, tracking completed work, and communicating updates to the appropriate staff.Monitoring maintenance supplies and helping obtain materials at cost-effective prices.Following safety requirements and helping maintain accessible environments that respect the needs and preferences of the people who live in our homes.Communicating with supervisors and program staff to coordinate repairs and follow-up.What We're Looking For:18+ years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid Driver's LicenseAt least 3 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field; 5 years is preferred. Working knowledge of general repairs, tools, and maintenance equipment.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.The ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.The ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting, carrying, kneeling, twisting, and shoveling.Basic computer skills for email, timekeeping, documentation, and ordering supplies.Schedule flexibility to meet maintenance needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or after-hours emergency response, as needed.About The Arc of Centre CountyThe Arc of Centre County is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Autism.
