The Wendy's General Manager oversees all operations of the Wendy's restaurant within a quick service restaurant (QSR) in a multi-concept travel center. This role establishes excellent guest service, brand-standard execution, and strong financial performance. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and developing team members while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The position operates in a high-volume setting with peak rush periods that require strong multitasking, active leadership, and a calm, solutions-focused approach. Wendy's General Managers lead by example and reinforce our culture daily-Grow EVERY day, be BRILLIANT, and care GENUINELY about people-creating a positive experience for both guests and team members.

You are good at:

• Operational Excellence: Maintain strict Wendy's brand standards, product quality, food safety, and overall cleanliness across the front counter, drive-thru, and kitchen.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and schedule staff; conduct regular coaching sessions to foster a positive, people-first working environment.
• Financial Performance: Drive sales and maximize profit by managing labor and food costs, minimizing waste, and enforcing strict inventory and cash controls.
• Guest Experience: Cultivate a "guest-first" culture that ensures prompt, accurate, and friendly service; resolve customer feedback professionally.
• Administration: Manage product ordering, inventory par levels, shift reconciliations, safe deposits, and regulatory/brand compliance paperwork.

What we expect from you

Great if you Have:

• Minimum of 2 years of General Manager experience in a comparable restaurant brand (required)
• QSR or fast-casual experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving organization
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, "can-do" attitude
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Highly collaborative with a strong work ethic
• Guest-focused, upbeat, and engaging personality
