The Role
The General Manager will lead day-to-day operations of the company’s largest and most visible site, a location critical to overall business performance. This leader will own the P&L, grow the business through new account acquisition, and build a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for a high-visibility site that is critical to company performance
Drive enterprise-level business development, with a focus on winning new accounts
Own full P&L responsibility and use strong financial judgment to guide business decisions
Conduct risk analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate staff
Build a positive, collaborative culture within the team and across partner teams
Lead by example on core values: safety, accountability, excellence, and service to customers
Make sure processes, procedures, and standards are consistently followed
Develop and continuously improve operational policies and procedures
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless operations and high customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards
Lead safety program participation, training completion, policy enforcement, and incident investigations
Step in on complex or sensitive matters involving customers, contracts, HR, or safety
Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
Track performance metrics, find areas for improvement, and implement new technology and process enhancements
Report regularly to senior leadership on progress against strategic goals

Qualifications

At least 5 years in senior or operations management with direct P&L responsibility
Full P&L ownership, with a proven record of improving EBITDA, building operating plans, budgets, and forecasts, and growing revenue while expanding margins
Leadership experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field services, power systems, industrial services, engineering services, maintenance, repair, or a similar technical service organization
Technical and field services background required
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
Strong communication skills at every level, from labor and trades to technical, professional, and executive leadership
Professional presence and a strong commitment to customer service
Data-driven decision making
Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards
Experience implementing new technologies and operational processes
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
