About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Store Manager to lead our Ashley Furniture location. You'll be responsible for building and developing a high-performing sales team, driving store sales and profitability, maintaining strong customer experiences, and leading the day-to-day operation of the store.

We believe in promoting from within and developing leaders for long-term careers. More than 75% of our Division Leaders started their careers as Store Managers.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the sales team

• Set clear expectations, reinforce accountability, and recognize strong performance

• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales results and work with the team to achieve store goals

• Coach Furniture Sales Professionals on customer engagement, product knowledge, selling, and closing

• Review sales results and key business metrics to identify opportunities and improve performance

• Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop team members

• Manage staffing, scheduling, showroom standards, merchandising, and daily store operations

• Support promotions, financing programs, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement

• Address customer concerns and ensure a positive shopping experience

• Partner with Division and corporate leadership to achieve business objectives

• Create a positive, energetic, competitive, and accountable store culture

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail management, sales management, or sales leadership experience

• Proven ability to achieve sales goals and drive team performance

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to analyze sales metrics and use them to improve results

• Organized, accountable, results-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to coach and develop sales professionals

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Furniture or home furnishings experience is a plus; other sales management backgrounds are valued
