Description
Role: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day shop operations and production schedules
- Ensuring on-time delivery and quality of machined parts
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency and cost reduction
- Leading and mentoring the production team
- Collaborating with sales, engineering, and quality departments
- Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
- Managing resource planning
- Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, products, or equipment
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Handle delivery or quality issues (e.g., defects, shortages)
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, finance) to meet
- requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing CNC machining operations
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines, programming, tooling, and
- processes
- Leadership and team management skills
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- principles
- Ability to manage production schedules and meet delivery targets
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred
