Mint Cannabis Co. – 625 SW 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97205Schedule: Full-time (Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility)Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 / yearAbout The Role:Mint Cannabis Co. is seeking an ambitious, hands-on General Manager to lead operations and drive the our successful SW Portland store location. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage financial accuracy, foster team growth, and ensure full compliance with Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulations.If you have a strong background in retail management, expertise in the cannabis industry, and proven experience opening new store locations, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute the setup, launch, and daily operational routine of our new store location; delegate tasks and set a high standard for cleanliness and organization.Hire, train, and onboard new staff; manage performance, provide ongoing coaching, create weekly work schedules, and facilitate regular team meetings.Maintain strict compliance with OLCC sales limits and safety regulations; collaborate with inventory teams to ensure product availability and resolve discrepancies.Oversee daily cash flow, conduct daily cash counts, compile weekly financial reports, and manage financial reporting to ownership.Drive a high standard of customer service, resolve guest feedback, and de-escalate customer service issues effectively.Qualifications & Requirements:Must be 21 years of age or olderHave a valid Oregon Liquor Cannabis Commission (OLCC) cardHigh school diploma or GEDProven track record in retail/dispensary managerial roles (direct experience opening new store locations is strongly preferred)Advanced knowledge of cannabis products and working familiarity with OLCC compliance rules and sales limitsProficient with Google Workspace, POS systems, computer software, and standard data entryAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Compensation & Benefits:Employees have access to ZayZoon as a benefit for early wage accessEmployer-sponsored benefits (medical, dental, and vision)Employee Discount (40% off Fire Dept Cannabis and Feel Goods products, 27.5% off all other products)Optional retirement plan (Roth IRA)Paid time off We're an equal opportunity employer.
