General Manager

Role Description the General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Oviedo, FL. This position oversees daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities, and ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness. The General Manager monitors financial performance, manages budgets, supports marketing initiatives, and optimizes labor and inventory to meet business goals. The role includes recruiting, training, and scheduling team members, resolving guest issues, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. The General Manager works closely with ownership and leadership to implement strategic plans, drive continuous improvement, and sustain a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with responsibility for operations, staff leadership, and customer service.
• Strong skills in budgeting, financial reporting, inventory control, and cost management.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams, including performance management and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and compliance best practices in hospitality settings.
• Comfort with basic technology tools such as POS systems, scheduling software, and standard office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
• Relevant education or training in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
