General Manager — High-Volume Drive-In Restaurant! ? ?

Location: Rochester, NY Area

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 base salary + performance-based bonuses!

This position is powered by a premier QSR operator with approximately 600 restaurants across 20 states. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

  • Ignite & Grow Your Crew: Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing powerhouse team of Shift Managers, Assistant Managers, Carhops, and Cooks who embody our culture of excellence and long-term growth potential.

  • Lead the Charge: Lead by example, modeling the standards, behaviors, and values consistent with our culture of excellence. You'll oversee both front-line (carhop/window) and kitchen operations to maintain quality food production and lightning-fast service speed.

  • Master the Hustle: Build and manage daily labor schedules that optimize throughput and drive-in speed while maintaining an outstanding guest experience. Deliver on sales, profit, and guest-experience targets by identifying and removing barriers to performance.

  • Own the Standards: Ensure full compliance with food safety, security, and sanitation standards at all times.

  • Communicate & Coach: Communicate operational priorities, shift goals, and best practices clearly and consistently to drive flawless execution. Address performance concerns promptly and respectfully through coaching, counseling, and constructive feedback.

  • Drive Local Dominance: Champion local marketing and community initiatives that strengthen the Drive-In’s neighborhood presence.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Track Record: 3+ years of restaurant management experience, ideally in QSR or drive-thru/drive-in formats. (Previous brand-specific drive-in experience is a preferred bonus, but not required!)

  • The Leadership DNA: A proven track record of leading, developing, and retaining strong restaurant teams in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for career operators with a stable tenure history—not job-hoppers.

  • The Business Brain: Demonstrated ownership of P&L, labor, food cost, and guest-experience metrics at the unit level. Highly organized and able to prioritize competing demands.

  • The Attitude: A guest-first mindset with a real desire to positively impact team members and customers alike. You are an authentic communicator who engages and inspires, connecting people to purpose and driving results.

  • The Basics: Working knowledge of POS systems, scheduling tools, and standard restaurant technology.

  • Location: Candidates must already live in—or be open to living in—the Rochester target market. Please note that no relocation support is provided.
