Salary: $65,000 + annually + performance-based bonus opportunities

We are excited to bring The Toasted Yolk Cafe to Roswell, Georgia and are seeking an experienced, energetic, hands-on General Manager to lead our new franchise location from opening day and beyond.

The Toasted Yolk is a growing breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept known for fresh food, great hospitality, a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and a daytime restaurant model. The restaurant operates from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing a restaurant leadership opportunity without the traditional late-night operating schedule.

Because this is a new restaurant opening, we aren't simply looking for someone to maintain an existing operation. We are looking for a leader who is excited about building one from the ground up.

THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal General Manager is a strong people leader who understands both the operational and financial sides of running a successful restaurant.

Experience with a new restaurant opening is strongly preferred.

The right candidate should:

• Have proven restaurant management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Operating Partner, Assistant General Manager, or similar leadership role
  
• Have experience opening a new restaurant or participating significantly in a new-store opening
  
• Be a true people person who enjoys coaching, developing, motivating, and retaining employees
  
• Lead from the front and be willing to work alongside the team when necessary
  
• Have strong knowledge of FOH and BOH restaurant operations
  
• Understand P&L management, labor costs, food costs/COGS, budgeting, inventory and profitability
  
• Have experience recruiting, hiring, scheduling and training restaurant employees
  
• Be capable of building and maintaining a strong workplace culture
  
• Hold employees accountable while maintaining positive team morale
  
• Have excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  
• Be highly organized, dependable and results-driven
  
• Understand that exceptional guest service begins with exceptional leadership
  
• Be comfortable taking ownership and accountability for the restaurant's overall performance
  

NEW RESTAURANT OPENING RESPONSIBILITIES

The General Manager will be an integral part of preparing the Roswell location for opening.

Responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting, interviewing and hiring the opening team
  
• Training and onboarding employees
  
• Learning and implementing The Toasted Yolk's franchise systems and operating standards
  
• Establishing staffing plans, schedules and management routines
  
• Helping create the restaurant's culture before opening
  
• Preparing both FOH and BOH teams for opening-day execution
  
• Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations
  
• Managing labor, food costs, inventory and operating expenses
  
• Monitoring P&L performance and restaurant profitability
  
• Maintaining food quality, cleanliness, safety and brand standards
  
• Managing guest satisfaction and resolving concerns
  
• Coaching and developing employees and future leaders
  
• Building relationships with guests and becoming a visible leader within the Roswell community
  

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

Because this is a General Manager position and a new restaurant opening, this role requires a significant hands-on commitment.

Candidates must be:

• Available to work approximately 55 60 hours per week, depending on business needs
  
• Available to regularly work Saturday, Sunday and Monday
  
• Available during the restaurant's operating hours of approximately 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, including additional time before opening and after closing as necessary
  
• Comfortable working weekends, which are expected to be some of the restaurant's busiest days
  

One of the advantages of The Toasted Yolk concept is that although this is a demanding restaurant leadership position, it is a daytime concept without traditional late-night restaurant hours.

REQUIRED GM TRAINING

The selected General Manager must be willing and able to travel for approximately 6 10 weeks of required franchise General Manager training in either Florida or Texas prior to opening.

The training period will be paid, and approved travel-related expenses associated with the required training will be covered.

Because completion of franchise training is necessary to prepare the GM to successfully open and operate the restaurant, candidates who cannot accommodate the required training period will not be considered.
