AUTOMOTIVE GENERAL MANAGER CDJR DEALERSHIP

Location: Arkansas | New Dealership Location | Full-Time

Experienced Automotive General Manager Wanted Strong Leadership, Proven Results!

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Automotive General Manager to lead our new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram (CDJR) dealership location in Arkansas.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven automotive leader who knows how to build a winning team, drive profitability, increase market share, and establish a strong dealership operation.

We are especially interested in candidates with a successful General Manager background at a General Motors (GM) or Chevrolet dealership. Experience managing a high-volume franchised automotive dealership is strongly preferred.

We are not looking for someone to simply manage a dealership. We want a strong, hands-on leader who can build, lead, motivate, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all dealership operations, including New and Used Vehicle Sales, Finance & Insurance, Fixed Operations, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volume, gross profit, and overall dealership profitability.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing management and sales team.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold department managers accountable.
• Manage dealership financial performance, budgets, expenses, inventory, and operational efficiency.
• Drive market share growth while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Build a strong dealership culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and long-term success.
• Work closely with ownership to achieve aggressive business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager of a franchised automotive dealership is required.
• General Motors (GM) or Chevrolet dealership leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, variable and fixed operations, inventory management, and profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to build successful teams and consistently exceed performance objectives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive retail operations, dealership processes, and manufacturer standards.
• Must be a hands-on leader with a track record of delivering measurable results.
• CDJR experience is a plus but not required.
