The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatrician for a non-tenure accruing faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic medical center and contribute to the division's missions of clinical excellence, teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric primary care while participating in the education of future healthcare professionals and pursuing scholarly activities aligned with their interests.

Nationally ranked in four pediatric specialties, UF Health Shands Children's Hospital provides the full spectrum of pediatric specialty services and is among the top children's hospitals in the Southeast US. UF Health Shands Children's Hospital provides care for the children of Florida and is a major destination center for pediatric patients, both nationally and internationally, who require specialized attention for complex medical problems.
UF Health Shands Children's Hospital represents the only quaternary-care academic pediatric center in North Florida. The children's hospital has 208 beds, including fully equipped pediatric and neonatal intensive care units. UF Health Shands Children's Hospital is part of the Children''''s Miracle Network''''s alliance of premier hospitals for children.
The Department of Pediatrics is committed to fostering innovation and advancing discovery in the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of child health and human development, educating and training pediatric scientists, and directly translating basic scientific discoveries into new patient-oriented therapies. In the most recent fiscal year, the department was home to over $30.5M in sponsored research.
UF Health faculty work in multidisciplinary teams with researchers in the five other Health Science Center colleges, as well as those from across the University. The focus of team efforts often originates from the Centers and Institutes, including the Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute, the UF Genetics Institute, the Powell Gene Therapy Center, and the UF Health Cancer Center.
