Role Description
The General Superintendent/Self Perform Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shelby Township, MI. This position involves managing and leading self-perform field operations, overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and maintaining schedules and budgets. The role requires close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery while driving efficiency, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications
Experience in Carpentry, field operations, and supervision of self-perform crews
Strong skills in project scheduling, resource planning, and budget management
Working knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction methods
Proficiency in interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and technical drawings
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
·        Proficiency in Carpentry and Framing techniques
·        Experience in Finish Carpentry for precise and detailed woodwork
·        Physical stamina and capability to handle manual labor in various outdoor conditions
Ability to build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and clients
Experience in managing large-scale construction projects is preferred
Proficiency in construction software tools and technologies is advantageous
Quick to adapt with strong problem-solving skills
