Salary: $450,000-$600,000/annual

Position Overview

Madera Hospital is seeking a General Surgeon who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join our expanding surgical team. This role offers the opportunity to serve a busy and growing patient population while playing a key part in strengthening access to surgical care across Madera County.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality general surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in our Acute Care Surgery program serving Madera County and surrounding rural communities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and hospital initiatives
• Take part in shared call coverage as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• California medical license (or eligibility)
• Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bilingual preferred
