On Time Talent Solutions is searching for a full-time Surgeon. You will work closely with the hospital and surgical staff to create a vision for General Surgery in the community and expand the scope of practice. This is a high-level position and candidates need to meet all requirements below to be eligible for consideration
General Surgeon Summary:
- Reviewing patient records and making diagnoses to determine if there is a need for surgery as a preventive or corrective measure.
- Assessing and providing patient with risk factors involved with going through or not going through with surgery.
- Performance of surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, diseases, deformities, patient function, and or quality of life following all regulatory and ethical protocols.
- Examining all instruments, equipment and the operating room to ensure sterility. Directing and coordinating the activities of hospital staff including nurses, assistants, and specialist for proper patient care.
General Surgeon Qualifications:
- Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an approved school of medicine
- Must have demonstrated experience in designated specialty area
- Must have a current, unrestricted Medical Licensure
- Must be board certified or be eligible for board certification within designated specialty
